Like it or not, we have a weight problem. More and more people are going from simply fat to outright obese in this country each year. Reports indicate that the obesity rate could soon reach an astonishing seventy percent. Seven out of ten Americans could soon be classified as obese.
Without strong nationwide behavior modification, a serious chronic health crisis may occur. Diet fads come and go, but the weight keeps piling on. For some of us pills or surgery are the only options. Or are they?
In times of crisis, nonconventional methods are reexamined in a new light. Treatments that we once considered impractical or ineffective are now seen as potentially applicable. A growing number of people are turning to a new method of weight loss therapy. This method certainly isn’t for everyone, but for those people it works for, the results can be dramatic and long lasting. This new weight loss treatment isn’t really new at all, its Hypnotherapy.
Will It Work For You?
A lot has been said about hypnotherapy in the past. Most of the information about hypnosis is negative and draws from the period when hypnosis was regarded as a novelty or a cleverly orchestrated sort of trick. While it’s true that hypnosis hasn’t had the most scientific of beginnings in the west, hypnosis has been around in some form throughout world history. For this reason alone, western culture is now taking another look at hypnosis.

The key to effective hypnotherapy seems to lie not in the hypnotherapist but in the mind of the patient. Patients who are least resistive to the idea of hypnotherapy seem to have the greatest success with it. Hypnotherapy after all, relies on the power of suggestion so it only makes sense that skeptical subjects don’t see much benefit from hypnotic therapy. It seems that the more open minded a subject is, the more likely they are to respond positively to hypnotherapy.

Time To Act.
Considering the looming obesity crisis, the time to act is now. Hypnotherapy provides weight loss relief to some who try it. Anyone who is obese, or at risk of becoming so, should strongly consider a hypnotherapy session. Dangerous times call for people to act in ways we normally might not. Confronting the obesity crisis requires bold action from us all.

People today are among the heaviest in recorded history. Globalization has brought cheap high calorie food to nearly every corner of the earth. At the same time our lifestyles have become far less physical than in the past. In short people are eating more than ever, while exercising less than at any time during our history.

The natural result of this decreased activity and increased consumption is sky rocketing obesity rates. Obesity is quickly becoming the number one killer world wide, surpassing even cancer as a mortal threat.

With obesity becoming nearly ubiquitous , a number of new therapies have also arisen. From traditional method like massage, to more modern diet pills, people seem to be willing to try anything in order to get their weight under control.

One new treatment that has been seeing increased interest in many parts of the world is hypnotism. Hypnotherapists report that weight loss is the second most popular reason for which people seek hypnotherapy, second only to smoking. As the obesity epidemic rises to greater proportions, even established medical providers are beginning to support hypnotherapy as a valid form of alternative medicine. In fact, many major health insures now cover a number of hypnotherapy sessions per year as a standard for of alternative preventative medicine.

Keep An Open Mind.

While experts disagree about the efficacy of hypnosis as weightloss therapy, there is strong agreement that hypnosis tends to work best for those people who keep an open mind about the subject of hypnosis. Individuals strongly skeptical of hypnosis, or those who flat out don’t believe in it, tend to have less success receiving hypnotic suggestion than their open minded counterparts.

Why Should You Try It?

Hypnosis seems to have amazingly positive results for a small segment of the population, good results for a slightly larger segment, and no negative results for the rest of us. For people who are at the end of their ropes with weight problems or contemplating invasive surgery or other medical intervention, trying hypnosis first may just provide an answer.
Once invasive surgery is carried out, there’s no going back. Why not exhaust all other options before going under the knife? A growing number of physicians share this view. Hypnotism may not be advisable for conditions like cancer, but for easily measurable results like weight loss, Hypnosis may just be the way to go.

To the uninitiated it seems like a pipe dream. Imagine losing your phobia simply by the power of suggestion. But to more and more desperate people, hypnosis is the Phobia Elimination method they’ve been waiting for. Its no surprise that more people are seeking professional help to control their phobias. Physiological illness is on the rise in nearly every country on earth. These days even children are coming down with anxiety related illnesses like paranoia. Quite frankly, nearly the whole world has a serious mental condition.

Enter Hypnotism.
Hypnotism has been around in one form or another for centuries. The idea of putting a subject in a highly suggestible state and directing them to take certain actions is not new. What is new however, is the growing mainstream belief that hypnotism is not just a fad or clever parlor trick, but a real therapy capable of delivering results where traditional methods have failed.

Perhaps the seriousness of the world mental health crisis has led people to seek non-traditional answers to their mental health needs. Perhaps as some skeptics say, it’s simply the desperate hope of individuals in need fueling the hypnotic phobia elimination craze. Desperate or not, many people swear by hypnotic therapy in spite of all the skeptics and deniers.

What can’t be denied however, is a small but increasing number of people who claim that hypnotherapy has worked for them. Phobia elimination is tangible and easily measured unlike other conditions. Believers and skeptics agree: if a patient seeks out a hypnotist in the hopes of losing their phobia and shortly thereafter does lose that phobia, it doesn’t really matter how it happens. What matters is that, in some cases it does happen.
It’s hard to keep an open mind about hypnotism and this may be part of the reason that it doesn’t seem to work for everyone. Hypnotists and skeptics alike agree; the more skeptical and disbelieving a person is toward hypnotism, the less likely hypnotherapy is to provide any tangible result for them. In short, you need to believe in hypnotism to realize any of its benefits, or at least be open to the possibility that hypnotism might work for you.

Some of us however have found relief from a whole host of serious problems by means of hypnotism. For those people who do see a positive result, we congratulate you upon your success.

With obesity, and other serious medical conditions associated with it, on the rise all over the world more and more people are looking for solutions to this serious, and sometimes deadly problem. Traditional methods such as diet and exercise and not so traditional methods including surgery and prescription drugs are effective for many people, but others for one reason or another prefer the non-traditional route of hypnosis for pursuing their weight loss aims.

Why Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is the safest most non invasive treatment available for weight loss. Instead of surgery, drugs or restrictive diets, patients are given a verbal hypnotic suggestion to modify their behavior. To some people this solution makes sense, overeating after all is an intellectual problem, therefore and intellectual solution, such as hypnosis seems like the right resolution to take.

The Medical View.
Traditional doctors have mixed feelings about hypnotism. Most of what we now know about hypnotism is the information provided by movies and television. The image of a carnival sideshow or con man springs quickly to mind when the subject is brought up. Doctors are also aware of the strong power that suggestion has over our lives however, and after all, hypnotism is largely harmless in most cases. A growing number of doctors seem willing to allow their patients to try hypnotherapy if for no other reason than the possibility that going through a hypnotherapy session might serve to reinforce the advice that physicians have been giving all along?

Does Hypnosis actually work?
A growing number of hypnotherapy patients report complete success with the objecitives of their therapy sessions. Still more patients report moderate success, while som e patients report no success at all. It seems that hypnosis like many weight loss methods isn’t one hundred percent effective for all who try it, but does provide benefit to some.

Should You Try Hypnosis.?

Considering the relatively inexpensive cost of hypnosis, and its high level of effectiveness for those who benefit from it, hypnosis as an alternative weight loss method deserves at least casual consideration. Hypnosis tends to be most effective for those of us who are willing to keep an open mind about it. If you aren’t able to temporarily put aside your skepticism, weight loss hypnosis may not be for you.

Hypnosis is the latest in a long line of drug treatment methods to gain popularity, but does it really work? The Idea that you can sit down on a couch and have someone talk away your drug problem may seem fanciful but consider this: Millions of people go to counselors and psychologists each year for just this purpose. To say nothing of all the faithful church goers.
Human beings have always been willing to believe in things that seem slightly irrational or outside of the boundaries of logic. In the case of hypnosis, this belief is effective for some people and largely harmless for the rest of us. With the rising cost in lives and dollars created by drug addiction hypnotherapy treatments seem less far fetched than before.

Hope For a Cure.

Drug addiction in many cases is as dangerous a mental a disease as it is a physical one. Hypnotherapy addresses the mental dependency. Some patients find themselves less physically dependent after on therapy session. In rare cases a patient is able to quit “cold turkey” after just one therapy session. Although many of us remain skeptical about hypnotherapy, an increasing number of people find hypnotherapy to be the best option when all others have failed.

Hypnotherapy treatment for drug addiction may not be able to completely cure addiction, but it does have other beneficial effects on the mood and attitude of patients. Many hypnotherapy patients report hypnotism to be a pleasant and relaxing experience, this side benefit of hypnosis may be just as rewarding for suffering patients as other more traditional addiction therapy regimes.

The Bottom Line.

When we take in to account the damage that drug addiction has already done, fighting addiction through hypnotherapy doesn’t seem as far fetched. If Hypnotherapy provides any relief whatsoever to drug addicts who try it, then its worth it.
Anyone who is at risk of losing a loved one to drug addiction should strongly consider taking them to a hypnotherapy session. Drug addiction destroys lives; trying hypnotherapy may just save lives.

It is quite apparent that in today’s financially motivated world,
having success in your business, career or investment endeavours plays a key part in the way you interact with individuals on that level. If your business is suffering, you may appear nervous or istraught in a sales pitch. If your business is doing xceptionally well, the confidence this gives you simply oozes from every pore. But for some individuals, fears, phobias and long held notions regarding social interaction can get in the way of them ever achieving the success they are capable of. Their mind believes they are incapable, therefore their actions follow that belief. This can be a very deep rooted issue and can turn out to be disastrous on a personal level as well.
The use of hypnosis can assist individuals with psychological “blocks” preventing them from achieving certain goals. This may include a fear of public speaking, a stutter perhaps or even a penchant for negative thinking. By using hypnosis and hypnotherapy, a subject can be placed in a state of relaxation, to the point that their subconscious mind is vulnerable. In this state, and individual can have positive messages delivered to help boost confidence, reassure those in peril and motivate them to further success. Some of these mental blocks can even be caused by psychological issues from the past. In a conscious setting, the individual may not be able to accept or define the root if the issue. This can be due to painful emories, or a fear of exposure. Yet in a subconsious setting, the subject is far more willing to enter into glib and candid observations and resolutions to their deep seated issues.

Some people may not have issues with fear or confidence that keep them from success in their professional life. For others, the issue may revolve entirely around confidence. How can you persevere and excel at something you are not even sure you are good at? For these individuals, hypnotherapy can be a gift from the heavens. Hypnosis and hypnotherapy have been used for decades to help inject confidence and self-assuredness into those that lack it. Some motivational speakers have used parts of this method – the repetition of phrases, listening
of audio while sleeping – to put across their methods in a more
effective way.

In conclusion, hypnosis can be a great tool when seeking to better yourself in a variety of ways. Prior to the use of any hypnosis, be sure to do thorough research on the methods, applications and practitioners available.
